The firm specializes in real estate closings, title insurance, and refinance transactions throughout Florida, although varied legal experience is welcomed. The Opportunity
This is your chance to be integral to a growing practice. You’ll manage real estate transactions from start to finish, working directly with a board-certified attorney who values your contributions. In a small firm environment, you’ll gain broad experience across all aspects of the practice rather than being stuck in a narrow role.
What You’ll Do
- Manage real estate closing transactions from opening to recording
- Draft legal documents including deeds, affidavits, and closing statements
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, realtors, title companies, and other parties
- Process title work: order searches, review commitments, resolve defects
- Handle client intake and communication
- Keep office operations running smoothly
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with all external parties
- Support the attorney with research, correspondence, and administrative needs
What You’ll Bring
Required:
- Prior experience in real estate closings, title work, or legal services
- Notary public certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong writing, communication, and customer service abilities
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office/365 and ability to learn new software quickly
- Friendly, warm, cooperative attitude
- High school diploma
Preferred:
- Paralegal certification or advanced paralegal education
- Experience with Florida real estate transactions and title processing
- Familiarity with closing software platforms
- Title Agent license
